Take on the high altitude cols of the 7 Majeurs in 4 days. An adventure across two countries with gastronomic delights await. Charming hilltop Italian villages perched with restaurants offering four course dinners.
Starting and finishing in the French culinary town of Barcelonette, we will tackle 7 cols over 2000m. For the right balance between enjoyment and sporting challenge, we propose two cols per day, leaving just one col for the fourth and final day, where you will tackle the hardest, highest and longest the Cime de la Bonette, the highest paved road in France before descending to a well earned dinner at the end in Barcelonette.

Weekend Ventoux
Offering our classic concept of bike rides and good food with our resident chef Paul Salomon
3 days riding with itineraries to choose from including Gorges de la Nesque, Mont Ventoux (Malaucène, Bédoin et Sault), Gorges du Toulourenc, Col de l’Homme Mort and many other options in the Drôme Provençale.

Want to feel like a Pro riding in a stage race? This cross border adventure will allow you to see two European countries and flavour the food of Italy and France, think… pasta, polenta, pizza and lots of cheese.
We will cross famous Grand Tour cols, the scene of many famous battles. Colle delle Finestre where Chris Froome won the Giro and the Galibier has been the for many a Tour de France stage. Come ride on roads frequently features in the Tour de France and Critérium du Dauphiné. The Chartreuse has typically steep gradients and stunning vistas with alpine meadows and snow capped mountains. Local produce includes many varieties of cheese and the eponymously titled world famous liquer.

Steep and challenging riding difficulty for col hunters and those want to push themselves. If 10% gradients and sweeping bends are your thing, this is your week! Typical rides will involve 1800m of climbing and 80km distance. The minimum ride features a minimum of 1000m climbing. The Tour de Chartreuse is the classic three Col loop, 92km and 2200m of climbing.

This week there are routes that can be adapted to all levels. Rideable distance from the hotel base there is everything from 13km climbs at 7.6% average gradient to flat rides along the beautiful Isere river close to the cliffs of the Vercors.
Level required
It is suitable for both Easy Riders and Col Hunters - what does this mean? For those simply enjoying the scenery or those who want to hunt cols and ride full gas. E-bikes are more than welcome and we can arrange hire.
